how much must I let go

to be the ideal me?

what part of me must die

in order that I might live?

how do I find my way to the top,

how much will I need to give?

for a woman of “true worth”

is a woman who understands

the sacrifices made are

worth the new-found lands

of wisdom, peace and hope

all that she wants the most –

so sacrifice she must

despite the loss of much.
