As part of Mental Health Month, I will be sharing more on what my day to day life can be like as a Christian living with Bipolar 2 Disorder, Generalised Anxiety and Panic Disorder. I hope to uncover some real life battles that go on and how I am learning to manage the onslaught, fight the battle and come out stronger in my faith and my wellbeing.

Why I’m Not Monetising My Blog
There's been something on my mind over the past week and I have to discuss it. As I've been getting my new book, Becoming You, ready for sale, I've been thinking about monetisation, blogging, affiliations and the like and I realised that I needed to draw a line in the sand, that for me, would … Continue reading Why I’m Not Monetising My Blog
What to do when the s#%@ hits the fan
It's 6:27am and I've just sat down to take a quick look over my ebook draft that I wrote yesterday. 7253 words in five hours. And my software won't open the file. It will open other files. Just not this one. This has never happened before with my software, so I won't mention which one … Continue reading What to do when the s#%@ hits the fan
The Dichotomy of Being a Creative and Planning Ahead

This leads me to wonder how I am going to manage the challenge of not working while … Continue reading Opportunity to contribute to a blog post – Tips on How to Stay Out of Office Mode while on Holiday
Gratitude Day 11 – Getting Older
But this is what I've discovered. I've been holding on to my own perception of beauty because the way I present myself provides a very lucrative payoff.
Living inside the wall and all that’s inside
I could never understand why I didn't finish this picture, because it always felt unfinished, like much of what I put my hand to. But now that I see it here I realise that there is a really good reason - I am not yet finished.
Gratitude Day 5 – We do live in a blessed country after all
I'm posting late tonight as I genuinely forgot about it earlier in the day and have just returned from a drive to Sydney and back to pick up the hubster from his work. The trains would have had him returning home close to midnight, and with a turn around starting at 5am tomorrow, this seemed … Continue reading Gratitude Day 5 – We do live in a blessed country after all
Gratitude Day 2 – Choices Matter
The best part was the way we connect. There is something so special to me as a parent to know that my child can share his heart without fear of it going further; that there is a freedom to express his views even when he knows we will ultimately agree to disagree.
